4 Leaders have completed their Level 3 Lowland Expedition Leadership (LEL).

This means the SE Centre can now run it’s own Expeditions for both the Bronze and Silver Awards

Our First D of E Expedition Completed by 8 young people in Worcester

It was the first time they had ever camped out and hiked for 2 days.

SE Centre ventured out to the North West Coast 22 August 2020 for the first time to Scarborough and walked the Cleveland way from Scarborough towards Ravenscar. The weather started out fine but soon the northern rain started and we completed our 5 hour walk back towards Scarborough. The next day we enjoyed a boat trip in York.

 

 

Ben Macdui is the second highest mountain in Britain,

10 SE Hikers completed the hike starting  from the Cairngorm Ski Centre, It took us 8 hours in total.

Mountain Holyhead Coastal Walk

SE Hikers are heading for the Holyhead for their second Coastal walk.

It will include Mount Holyhead and the Coast of Anglesey.

Funds raised go towards supporting the SE Centre aims.

 

SE Hikers are heading for the Bournemouth Coast for their first Coastal walk. It a 21 mile coastal walk . Funds raised go towards supporting the SE Centre aims.

Kavita Mahey is organising a hike to the Peak District on 2nd July 2017. If you would like to join us drop us an email. You will require basic hiking gear including Boots, Waterproofs and backpack.

Over the last Christmas Period the SE Centre went out to help people in Birmingham feel a little warmer this winter.

People donated money via Mydonate and we collected well over out target of £1000.
